These ones for my mom, here she is.
My mother and I have our differences and that’s no secret. While we may have those differences, she’s my best friend. My dad is also but he is more of the judging “stand up girl” and saying ew to girlhood while mom is holding my hair up and squeezing my hand while saying any crushes?!? She is where I get my fierceness from and the vulnerability to like myself no matter what. We are all we’ve got and I know it’s difficult. One day it won’t be.
